Vaayu Biogas Industrial Visit
Story of a Climate-Preneur:
-
Listen firsthand to Priyadarshan Sahasrabuddhe, an IIT Bombay alumnus, on his unfiltered journey of building a climate startup.
-
He will share how he started, his inspiration from Dr. Abhay Bang’s Nirman program, and the crucial mindset shift required to build solutions that enable fossil-free lifestyles.
Understand Waste-to-Wealth Basics:
-
Discover what it actually takes to build a sustainable startup from scratch.
-
Participants will learn how everyday kitchen waste is converted into a clean cooking flame and natural fertilizer, understanding the core mechanics of how a climate-focused company operates day-to-day.
Learn the Math of Impact:
-
Move beyond textbook science to see how environmental action really works.
-
Using a single-household 2kg biogas model, participants will calculate real-world impact: how processing just 2 kg of daily kitchen waste stops over 700 kg of garbage from reaching landfills annually, replacing up to 2 LPG cylinders, and proving how green businesses work at the micro-level
The Importance of Climate Action & Finance:
-
Learn why democratizing climate action is the lifeline of our planet's future.
-
Through a guided plant tour of the new 3,000 sq. ft. Shivane facility, families will understand how to implement renewable energy at home, spend wisely, and reinvest in a sustainable lifestyle.
From Trash to Fuel: A Parent-Child Sustainability Masterclass
We teach our kids how to score marks, but do we teach them how to solve real-world problems?
This July, Praja Sanwad (प्रजा संवाद) brings an exclusive, limited-seat opportunity for parents and children (Ages 8+).
We are stepping inside the working plant of Vaayu Biogas (Pune) for a rare, hands-on masterclass on the mechanics of building a green business and saving the planet.
The Vaayu Experience
Your child isn't going to listen to boring environmental science lectures. Instead, they will sit with an IIT-alumnus founder whose own home has been 100% LPG-free since 2019. Through a live plant tour and interactive sessions, they will learn how to turn waste into energy. Most importantly, you, as a parent, will be right beside them during our dedicated "Praja Sanwad (प्रजा संवाद)" building a shared vocabulary around renewable energy and taking actionable steps for Mother Earth.
